Cook - Bass and Vocals

Mike Cuff - Vocals and Guitar

Jared - Drums

Hailing from South Jersey, The Cuffs have made the most of their location. By being near Philadelphia and New York City, they have had the opportunity to play with the likes of Blanks 77, The Wretched Ones, The Business, The Dropkick Muphys, Violent Society and many more. With all these different shows, they have garnered much respect in the East Coast Punk community.

In September '96, Mike Cuff (vocals and guitar) and Cook (bass and vocals) split from their band Pond Job. They decided to start another one, but needed a drummer. Their friend, Jared, who had never played drums before decided to give it try. Only a month later they recorded their first seven inch. Since they could not call the band Pond Job, they made lists and lists of possible names. Big Daddy Mike Cuff (Mike Cuff's dad) made the suggestion of Cuff 21 (U.K. slang for F@#k You!). The band decided on a slightly different version. . . The Cuffs.

The Cuffs sound can be described as Young Street Punk with some Oi! They have released two seven inches and a third one will be released in May '98 called Death By The Bottle (Headache Records). The Cuffs will be featured on Radical's upcoming Exploited tribute album (due out Summer '98) along with Blanks 77, The Wretched Ones, Bruisers, Violent Society, Special Duties, The Casualties and more. They have also been featured on several comps including: This Is Punk Rock (Pelado Records), For Real, Kaos II (Motherbox Records), and a Stinkbox Records comp.

The Cuffs plan a Fall '98 release for their yet untitled debut album on Radical. They are playing local East Coast shows this spring/early summer before heading into the, studio. Along with their album release, they are planning a national tour
