NAMSILAT hail from a land of psychedelic sludge, of death and death metal, where the voice of Satan swirls over a maelstrom of hellish drum and guitar, pounding evil rhythmic chaos sans bass, sans rock convention. Namsilat (= "Talisman" backwards) are a three man whirlwind of noise and goat-loving lyrical madness who dress in traditional Amish garb, and rock the light Satanic. The band, currently hailing Satan from Chicago, have put out a self-released CD of excellence, RAPTURE, that has el Jefe sacrificing his nuts whilst lavishing the Namsilat-isms. A sonic assault that grinds and winds, grooves to the Satanic beat, and has unholy head-bangers churning in a mosh pit of kicking cloved hooves.
